Grape(s) :Pinot Noir
"From a small .34 hectare parcel in Millandes, perhaps the most "serious" 1er cru in Morey in its depth and complexity. Again, these '16 Morey 1ers seem to be reference point good.
"Here too there is just enough wood present to cite on the very ripe yet fresh aromas of cassis, plum, black cherry, warm earth and a whiff of the sauvage. There is excellent size, weight and power to the big-bodied, concentrated and intense flavors that possess an appealingly textured mouthfeel thanks to the copious amount of dry extract that also buffers the firm core of tannins on the impressively long finish. This seriously constituted effort will require extended cellaring to reveal its considerable potential."-AM'91-93/2028+
