The fruits of the wine comes from an average of 40-year-old vin. 100% hand harvest with 80% whole bunch fermentation. 14 months oak ageing with 40% new oak. bottled unfiltered.
"A pretty peony, raspberry liqueur nose which is gentle and characteristic of Chambolle. Crunchy fruit and white pepper, hints of whole bunch fermentation, this is among the most persistent. A little aggressive, but some nice chocolate notes appear on the finale."-Decanter'91
